A business offering to estate agents is setting out its stall as offering marketing services, including videos.
The Property Collection domain name was registered by Claire Cook on February 5 this year, with the registrant’s address given as 9 Compass Point Business Park, St Ives, near Peterborough, see below.
An address at Compass Point Business Park was the registered office for Cream Club, run by Craig Cook.
Cabec trading as Cream Club went into administration in May last year, owing around £1m including £150,000 in unpaid staff wages and £681,000 to HMRC.
It was bought out of administration by a company called Cream Club Ltd, a director of which was Craig Cook, the local paper reported at the time.
The paper also reported that Cook was managing director of Cream Worldwide, another estate agency marketing company wound up in 2014.
Cook set up Homebook.Club, a company currently offering creative marketing solutions to estate agents.
There is no indication on the Property Collection website that there is any connection with Craig Cook.
The video below purports to carry testimonials including some from some high profile estate agents about the Property Collection offerings. The background to some of the images appear to be those of Cream Club.

Video ‘removed by the owner’. I will have a bet with anyone that there have been some phone calls from lawyers acting for the agents featured in it.

Interesting…
‘Mrs Cook’ has previously been knows as ‘Ms Claire Roberta Oliphert’ in other Directorships – including Homebook.club .
Ms Oliphert has at least FOUR separate listings at Companies House in that name alone.

Website has NO company information, Ts&Cs, Privacy Policy, etc – I thought all this was a Legal requirement?

From the website:
‘We are proudly established as the UK’s leading estate agency marketing specialists…’
Where’s the ASA when our industry so desperately needs it?

They would undoubtedly resolve it on an ‘informal basis’ as per normal…….

Well…. have just looked at their supplied video sample for agents Rush, Witt & Wilson – and then more on the agent’s website.
Yes, folks… it is indeed a rehash of the Cream product – and again, notable for its absolutely shocking videos – inadequately scripted, poorly visualised, and REALLY badly voiced, by someone who sounds like they really don’t care: absolutely no interest in the property, or vocal SELL at all… If agents pay any more than a fiver for these shoddy videos, they really should demand a better service and product from Mr Craig….
Claire used to call herself a producer. One of the prime problems with all Cream’s (and its successors’) products, is that they are woefully unproduced….!!

Well said everyone. It is great that we all have unity on this story. No petty jibes is really refreshing and am delighted to read that we are all in agreement. Lets all try and guide friends and colleagues in the industry away from companies like this.

At what point will these people realise their business model is flawed and their products are inadequate? Isn’t it high time that those agents being used to promote their latest failure in the making without consent subjected them to their own litigious bullying tactics? The testimonial video is still up on Facebook and also features John Lewis’s branding quite heavily in certain shots – something I’m certain the retail giant would not be particularly happy about.

EYE has been consistent in their informing the industry of matters pertaining to these individuals since Day #1.
The waters we inhabit are far from still and calm, Eamonn – thankfully there is the occasional beacon out there to guide us away from rocks and rip-tides.
