New insight into the world of renting

Canopy, a leading FinTech firm, has partnered with TwentyEA to provide agents and landlords with ‘new insights’ into the world of renting.

TwentyEA’s home mover data and insight will be combined with Canopy’s intelligence on tenant behaviour to offer a greater insight into what renters are looking for.

The new partnership will provide agents and landlords with weekly insights through social media and periodic whitepapers on the rental market.

Renters are a growing demographic with estimates showing that a fifth of the UK population now lives in privately rented accommodation, accounting for 4.7 million households.

Tahir Farooqui, founder and CEO of Canopy, said: “Our new partnership with TwentyEA will give landlords and agents an opportunity to stand out in a crowded market, by offering what renters are looking for.  We can now provide anonymised data into renters’ needs, wants and desires and how they can be best served.

“We focus on the renter and we want to bring that mission to the property market.  The surge in renters over the last three to four years has meant they are increasingly important consumers and are looking for a range of products and services suited to their needs.”

Katy Billany, sales director at TwentyEA, added: “So often news about activity in the sales market eclipses that of the rental market. Together we are now looking to redress that balance and ensure that such an important aspect of the economic landscape gets the attention it deserves.”

Hmmm, why would we buy research from them when we already know exactly what tenants are looking for? I would think all decent letting agents will know this intimately….

The potential tenant  will tell what they want when they make the initial inquiry.

Another web site with no value which will last 2 minutes.
