OneDome, which operates a homebuying platform and portal, has unveiled a new express conveyancing service: OneDome Conveyancing Premium Express.

Angels Media, publisher of Estate Agent Today and Letting Agent Today, has issued a press release on behalf of OneDome, as part of its broader marketing service, including news, claiming that the new conveyancing platform is ‘similar to Amazon Prime’.

The press release states: “This service is launched after years of providing conveyancing panel management to estate agents, aiming to deliver a premium and swift conveyancing experience for clients with an in-house team of expert conveyancers. Similar to Amazon Prime, the focus is on delivering both premium and expedited services to clients.”

It adds, “At the core of OneDome Conveyancing is DealRoom, an award-winning property transaction management platform, and a team of trained sales progressors known as Property Moving Assistants. These professionals serve as dedicated monitors for the entire transaction process, including chain management. They play a dual role as project managers of the transaction and single points of contact, facilitating communication between home buyers, sellers, and all professionals involved in a transaction.

“The DealRoom and Property Moving Assistants collectively bring together all stakeholders in a property transaction onto one platform, streamlining tasks from KYC to completion. This integrated approach not only significantly reduces transaction times but also eliminates complexity and wasted time.

“The launch follows a successful 12-month trial period, during which OneDome achieved an average transaction time of 7.1 weeks. This remarkable efficiency compares to the national average of 15.6 weeks. Conveyancers working under the OneDome Conveyancing Premium Express brand are meticulously selected by OneDome. These professionals operate exclusively for OneDome and are capped in terms of the total number of cases they handle, ensuring unwavering service standards and a commitment to excellence.”

The released continues, “With the introduction of the conveyancing service, OneDome solidifies its position as the only company in the UK offering both digital mortgage and digital conveyancing services to estate agents and their clients. Having an in-house team of mortgage brokers, conveyancers, sales progressors, and a digital platform that brings everyone together allows OneDome to guarantee service standards and turnaround times.

“OneDome Conveyancing Premium Express caters to estate agents seeking effective pipeline management while also benefiting from a referral fee.”

Although the press release does not feature a direct quote from anybody at OneDome, the platform’s founder, Babek Ismayil, is referenced as the point of contact for agents seeking further information.

Just how is OneDome doing? It has been going a long time – but I never seem to come across it. On the positive at least the whole residential estate agency industry in the UK has finally woken up to the fact that business operations like getting the transfer of title DONE, is probably better done using software and technology and new operating systems – the yawning abyss though is just take a look at the comments section any day on the Law Society Gazette, and you will see the appetite for digital change … is pretty much Dinosaur Park.

The digital transformation of all real estate processes is pretty much her and now, but the adoption and getting minds and hearts engaged is still probably 15 years away. When many of the stale pale men, give way to a new generation of the same – but with digital in their DNA as they were brought up on it. Maybe more people should be looking at what is happening around the world, the US, Australia, Germany etc, these models of real estate are moving extremely rapidly, maybe it is because we are an island nation – that is our reticence to embrace the new unless we thought of it first.
