New drone on-demand inspections launched by InventoryBase

InventoryBase has launched a new drone survey and booking facility, in partnership with Drone Safe Register, as part of their multifaceted workstreams service.

The drone on-demand inspections are designed for surveyors carrying out external property inspections, providing aerial video and photographic access for use when looking to secure instruction for the estate agency market.

By embracing the use of drones, the aim is to allow agents to re-engage, incentivise and develop new strategies to grow their client base.

Steve Rad, managing director of InventoryBase, commented “Aerial photography and inspections provide a more in-depth and complete picture of a property’s exterior, land and surrounding area.

“As remote management becomes more of a norm, remote services like this will provide enormous value and provide a competitive edge when marketing or managing your property on your clients’ behalf.”

To access and book a certified licensed drone pilot from their comprehensive nationwide member base, the cost starts from £199 + VAT.

Mark Boyt, CEO and founder of Drone Safe Register, added: “Our industry leading services are changing the game in property marketing and commercial and private property inspections. We are really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together with our combined forces of advanced technology.”

I thought it was illegal to fly drones within 50 metres of residential areas/the public and a licence would have to agreed “per job” and neighbours have to be agreeable etc.?

For congested/urban areas the price is reflected to include the necessary paperwork (about £50 more than an uncongested area), is only booked on the provision that the property owner, or agent acting on the owners behalf has consented and in those places that is not possible to fly, the job will simply be declined with reasons provided. Otherwise, everything is taken care of. Book it, forget it, receive it. We hope people find value in that 🙂
