Belvoir Group has struck a deal with geospatial technology firm Kamma to offer support to 340 of its offices in their respective brands Belvoir, Northwood, Newton Fallowell, Nicholas Humphreys and Lovelle, with compliance management and analysis services, designed to help agents avoid thousands of pounds in fines.
Nearly 50 new schemes and consultations have launched throughout the UK in 2023 so far. Fines for rogue landlords in London alone have also surpassed £9.8m, and are on track to reach £10m before the end of the year.
Belvoir will also have access to Kamma’s Reporter service, a product that allows letting agents generate a report on a property’s characteristics, including its EPC and licensing requirements, to help win instructions and improve the overall customer experience.
Kamma CEO, Orla Shields, explained: “Belvoir Group are known for their strong foothold in the property market and this partnership will help Belvoir stay on top of their licensing requirements, all whilst saving them time and protecting them against the risk of fines.”
Group operations director, Grace Milham, commented: “We’re excited to be partnering with Kamma and offer their licensing compliance services to our agents. This partnership will help to increase standards in the private rented sector and remove complexity for our agents, allowing them to focus on providing an excellent service to their clients.”
