Landmark Information Group to cater for the Scottish property market

Landmark Information Group, a well-respected provider of information to the UK property market, has launched Landmark Scotland, which will provide dedicated technology and data-driven product and service solutions for the Scottish property market.

Landmark’s existing legal search and due diligence business, Millar & Bryce, which has provided services for property solicitors in Scotland for almost 150 years, will complement and provide local support for the Landmark Scotland portfolio.

Richard Hepburn, managing director of Millar & Bryce, will extend his responsibilities as MD for Landmark Scotland.

Lorna Kerr, formerly from OnTheMarket and s1homes, becomes the business development director for the newly formed business unit. She will be tasked with working closely with estate agents and solicitors across the country to develop the reach of the business.

Kerr said: “I’m delighted to transition to Landmark Scotland and have the opportunity to grow awareness of Landmark’s extensive products and services. It is also fantastic to have the local support, infrastructure and established market legacy of Millar & Bryce which offers a solid foundation for development of a new range of valuable services.”

Simon Brown, CEO of Landmark Information Group, commented: “Establishing Landmark Scotland provides the energy, direction and essential local input to ensure that our compliance, survey, panel management and search solutions fully address the unique needs of the Scottish property market’s transaction flow. Working in partnership with our Millar & Bryce legal search business, Landmark Scotland delivers a comprehensive range of region-specific data and workflow solutions to meet the evolving needs of the local property market.”
