New awards to shine spotlight on ‘underappreciated’ conveyancing sector

Professionals from across the conveyancing industry will be recognised at a brand-new awards ceremony launching next year.

The Conveyancing Awards will take place on Thursday 14 May 2026 at The Londoner Hotel, bringing together conveyancers, legal firms, housebuilders, PropTech innovators and the wider property community for a night celebrating excellence and achievement.

The event is organised by Globespan Media, the team behind the long-running WhatHouse? Awards, now in their 45th year, and is sponsored by Show House Searches, also part of the Globespan Media group.

“As a discipline, conveyancing plays a crucial role in underpinning the whole housing market yet it is a sector that is widely underappreciated,” explains Daniel Hill, GlobespanMedia’s Director, and Founder of The Conveyancing Awards. “We therefore felt there was an opportunity to draw more attention to the firms, professionals and teams shaping the future of property law with a fresh new ceremony.

“Our categories have been carefully crafted to cover a broad cross-section of the industry, from geographical distinctions tonew build specialists, high-performing individuals and teams, as well as the sector’s innovators and disruptors. The Conveyancing Awards represent an exciting expansion of our established awards portfolio, and we look forward to discovering the sector’s outstanding achievements and brightest talent,” adds Daniel.

The Conveyancing Awards will open on 14 December 2025, with entrants able to choose from 14 categories, recognising individual and team successes as well as areas of expertise such as new build sales progression, commercial property, client care, and use of technology.
