Mystery as Andrews stays tight lipped over departure of managing director

Alison Nunez appears to have left Andrews Property Group where she was managing director, EYE has learnt.

Andrews head office told callers yesterday that she was unavailable, and we could find no mention or picture of her on the company website which makes a point of featuring its teams.

According to Companies House, she is no longer a director.

She joined Andrews in October 2016 having previously been over 15 years at Countrywide, latterly as ‘retail director’ for the south. She had previously been lettings director for regions covering south and central England.

She joined Andrews to lead its lettings and management business when David Westgate moved up to become group CEO. She later became managing director for both estate agency and lettings, responsible for all of the 56 or so offices in the regional chain.

As well as being managing director of Andrews, Nunez has also been a trustee for Andrews Charitable Trust, and for the last two years an advisory board member of the Property Redress Scheme.

According to Companies House, Nunez, 46, resigned as a director of Andrews on March 1.

She became a director of Andrews Lettings and Management in 2016 and a director of Andrews Estate Agents just under a year ago at the end of last March.

Andrews last night said: Alison Nunez is currently under the employment of Andrews Property Group.”

Having worked with Alison and seen her ambition for the industry I’ve no doubt she won’t be short of offers this morning.

I agree Peter! Alison gave me the chance to start my journey in the property world back in 2010 and is a phenomenal leader!
