A new estate agency will soon open in Cardiff after planning consent was awarded for a medical centre in the city to be converted into an estate agency office, with flats above.
Applicant Phil Parry submitted proposals to change the use of Whitchurch Road Surgery in the Gabalfa district of the city to ground floor estate agent offices.
Upper floors of the building would be converted into four self-contained flats.
Proposals include a single storey rear extension, upper floor extension, rear dormer extension and general external alterations.
The site comprises the existing medical centre located within the Whitchurch Road District Centre within an inner city area. The building comprises a substantial end of terrace property on a corner plot.
A Cardiff Council officer’s report said the proposal was considered acceptable, with planning consent awarded subject to conditions
