Marsh & Parsons is today opening a new office in Tooting, south London.
It will be the firm’s 25th branch, with a further three planned this year.
The site on Upper Tooting Road has been extensively remodelled at a cost of £200,000.
It is opening with a Foxtons-style 0% commission rate for the first three months, down from Marsh & Parsons’ standard 2% fee.
The firm calculates this will save local vendors an average of £13,100.
Peter Rollings, chief executive at Marsh & Parsons, part of LSL, said that the 0% deal was tried and tested, and had proved successful in other new branches.
Sales manager in Tooting will be John-Paul Burrough, and lettings manager will be Charlie Crane.
