Man to go on trial after denying assault on estate agent

A man is to go on trial after pleading not guilty to assault.

Marc Skelton appeared before magistrates at Poole, Dorset, last Friday, charged with assaulting Anthony Newman of Tony Newman Estate Agents on February 27.

Skelton also denied a charge of using threating, abusive or insulting words of behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke violence.

Skelton was given unconditional bail. The trial is scheduled for July 3.
