An angry man who burst into a letting agent’s office, screaming obscenities at the three women staff present and throwing items from desks, was caught on the firm’s CCTV.
Staff at Lovett International in Boscombe, Bournemouth, say the same man shouted at staff in a different branch nearby two weeks earlier.
But, say the agents, despite both incidents having been reported to police, and the CCTV footage of the second incident being handed over to them, they have so far failed to act.
Police have now apologised.
The man, apparently upset over a £100 deposit, is not a client of Lovett International.
Chief executive Maximillian De Kment said he believes the man has mistaken the firm for another agency.
Since the attack, staff have kept the door locked.
De Kment said: “It was very intimidating for my staff.”

Experienced a similar thing when I first started out. A man came in screaming demanding that we remove our board from his property, no one had any idea who he was! Then a few days later he stormed in and threw the board on the floor. It wasn't even our board!
