A man arrested on suspicion of multiple driving offences after a car crashed into a High Wycombe estate agency has been released on bail.
The incident, which took place before 8am on 31 December led to a police cordon blocking part of Crendon Street in the town centre, after the car ploughed into the office of Ford and Partners.
A video shared on social media showed at least four police cars at the scene, with a recovery vehicle preparing to remove a silver-grey car from the building.
The vehicle was eventually removed, and the police cordon was lifted at around 9.30am.
A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of multiple driving offences, including dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and exceeding the legal alcohol limit. He has since been released on bail.
Part of the estate agency damaged in the crash has been boarded up, with Thames Valley Police confirming that no injuries were sustained.
