LRG acquisition ‘part of bid to strengthen UK market position’

Dragonfly Lettings, Cringleford

Leaders Romans Group (LRG) has announced the acquisition of Dragonfly Lettings, an established lettings business located in Cringleford, Norwich.

LRG said the acquisition was part of its ongoing strategy to grow its lettings portfolio and strengthen its market position across the UK.

Dragonfly Lettings started in 2017 when Glen Hammond merged the lettings portfolios of HammondLee and Stratfords of Eaton Ltd. The acquisition will see Dragonfly Lettings absorbed into Leaders’ Cringleford and Norwich offices.

All existing staff will transition to LRG, with the current director exiting the business upon completion of the acquisition.

LRG said the acquisition marked “a significant step” in LRG’s strategy to enhance its presence in the Norwich area.

Matthew Light, group mergers and acquisitions director at LRG, commented: “After the significant acquisitions of Stirling Ackroyd, Alexander & Co, and Peter Ball earlier this year, which led to a brief pause, we are now firmly back on the acquisition trail.

“The acquisition of Dragonfly Lettings is the first of a series of acquisitions over the coming weeks and months. This move increases our already strong lettings presence and market share in the Norwich area.”

Glen Hammond, managing director of Dragonfly Lettings, commented: “Dragonfly Lettings has been a significant part of my professional journey. The decision to join Leaders Romans Group was made with the confidence that our clients and team will benefit from the extensive resources and support that LRG offers.”
