Love2move teams up with iamsold

love2move, the fixed fee selling platform, has agreed a new partnership with iamsold, to enable its network of estate agency owners to sell properties at auction.

The link with iamsold will enable agents to give clients more choice to sell their home as they wish, according to Georgina Cox, co-founder of love2move.

She said: “This is all about choice, iamsold’s network of agents can now offer their clients more choice to help them move with ease.

“By accessing love2move services, agents can now offer a full range of services to cater for different motivations and their clients have the freedom to sell their property their way.”

The partnership with iamsold will help love2move’s network of estate agency owners expand their services and increase commercial opportunities, by supplementing income from traditional sales and upfront income from fixed fee sales with additional income from successful transactions via the Modern Method of Auction (MMoA).

As love2move’s preferred supplier for online auctions, iamsold will support love2move agents to provide their own white labelled auction service to their clients. It will also promote love2move’s fixed fee, self-service tool to its network of agents.

In addition, love2move will work with its own UK-wide network of almost 50 partner agents to promote iamsold’s auction services, as a way to provide another option for clients whose circumstances mean they may want to consider the benefits of enhanced levels of speed and security for their property transaction.

Jamie Cooke, managing idrector of iamsold, commented: “The Modern Method of Auction is fast-growing as it’s a really accessible method for buyers or sellers who want to benefit from its speed, security and transparency. Sales via the MMoA have a fixed 56-day completion timeframe*, whereas the more traditional method of Private Treaty sales currently take around 14 weeks to complete** and come with a much higher fall through rate^.

“Despite all of these benefits MMoA is little known amongst the public, and we’re really passionate about creating positive change to see it become a mainstream way of buying and selling property. Estate Agents who offer MMoA, giving their clients more choice and the option to go with the method that best suits their circumstances, play such an important part in this, so we’re really pleased to partner with love2move and support their network with our auction services.”

I am sold, Pattinson Auctions etc are a complete rip off for buyers.   The buyers ends up paying 5% in fees.   Daylight robbery – this needs to be investigated.

Really really really not a fan of “modern method”.

It’s not even an auction – any method which doesn’t legally bind you immediately on the fall of the gavel simply isn’t an auction. It’s just normal old private treaty.

And it’s a form of Private Treaty which doesn’t even get you the best price. I scroll past all listings which contain the words “modern method” because I simply cannot be ***** with it.

The few buyers who do take it further clearly revise their offers downwards to take into account the buyers fees. I’m not against buyers fees per se, but the sheer amount of the fee, especially when compared to the low price of most of the properties, is just not on.

If you like it, then that’s up to you, but I prefer to stay well away from it, no matter how much I can potentially earn.

Oh dear. Well, that’s all of the Love2Move clients getting upset now then, with the I Am Sold auction folk in the frame! They just don’t nurture the ‘vendor – agent’ relationship as an instructed agent would.
