Almost 200 agency offices have signed up to a country-focused business-to-business subscription platform launched by LonRes just two years ago.
ResCountry lets country agents advertise their stock to a private network of more than 6,000 London-based estate and buying agents with clients and applicants looking to buy or rent.
First launched to a handful of agents in 2017, the platform reported that it now lists more than 5,000 rural properties and close to 200 established country offices to its network.
A spokesman said there are 400 active users but could not reveal how many separate agency brands use the service.
Users include current LonRes members Knight Frank and Strutt & Parker as well as regional independents such as Norfolk-based Sowerbys, south-west agents Luscombe Maye, and Fisher German whose offices span the country from Hungerford in the south to Chester in the north-west.
Agents get the benefit of other LonRes services such as its Retained Agent Alert which matches properties and agents to the requirements of buying agent clients.
Chris Welch, sales manager of LonRes, said: “ResCountry is essentially a roll-out of LonRes to the country.
“The service provides a seamless platform for agents, in and out of London, to work together.
“It’s proving a useful tool in helping win new instructions. Rural agents tell us their clients are quick to see the benefits of promoting their property direct to London-based agents.
“ResCountry really does open up the market to potential buyers, and for rural agents it’s a compelling message to take to pitches. LonRes is an established, trusted network, and taking it beyond London makes perfect sense.”
