Lomond Group partners with Goodlord

The Lomond Group has announced that it has partnered with property technology company Goodlord to streamline lettings processes across the group’s brands, which include Braemore, Stonehouse, Linley & Simpson, Dale Eddison, Thornley Groves, John Shepherd, Brand Vaughan and Michael Jones, and protect its landlords with Goodlord’s Rent Protection & Legal Expenses Insurance.

The comprehensive cover offered by Goodlord’s Rent Protection & Legal Expenses Insurance was a key driver for the partnership, but the group has already seen significant efficiency gains through the utilisation of the property technology company’s award-winning lettings platform, benefiting from Goodlord’s integrations with the likes of Reapit and Reposit.

Goodlord’s lettings platform will be used across the group’s fast-growing stable of leading high street brands throughout the United Kingdom, representing a combined portfolio of over 22,000 properties under management in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Edinburgh, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, and York, standardising processes across the group.

Lucy Jones, Chief Operating Officer, The Lomond Group, comments:

“We are at the start of a very exciting journey with The Lomond Group and have grand ambitions for immediate and sustained growth in both our existing and new regions across the UK.

“It’s paramount to our success that we partner with the best suppliers in the industry, which in turn enables us to provide our customers with the most seamless property experience possible. We’re delighted to be partnering with Goodlord at this pivotal time for our company.”

Goodlord CEO, William Reeve, comments:

“We’re thrilled that The Lomond Group has chosen to streamline their lettings process with the Goodlord platform. Their strategy of combining the benefits of scale, market-leading insurance protection and an integrated tenant journey is what Goodlord’s market-leading platform is built for – enabling them both to save money and to deliver against ambitious growth objectives.”

Lomond are an interesting bunch, they really are cherry picking some of the very best agents around.

From what i understand they run it exceptionally well, unlike a corporate going in trying to change everything and upsetting everyone, they allow the companies to carry on as normal.
