Travel Chapter has acquired self-catering holiday brand Beach Retreats in a move aimed at accelerating its growth and enhancing its offering to both property owners and guests.
Previously owned by Watergate Bay Hotel, Beach Retreats, which will continue to operate from Cornwall, manages a portfolio of more than 230 coastal properties across Cornwall, each within walking distance of the beach. Under the Travel Chapter umbrella, Beach Retreats will retain its brand identity and continue to focus on delivering high-quality experiences for owners and holidaymakers alike.
Jayne McClure, CEO of Travel Chapter, commented: “Beach Retreats is a brand we’ve admired for years. Their focus on quality properties and excellent service aligns with our vision. We look forward to supporting their continued success and strengthening the service they provide to owners and guests.”
The acquisition aligns with Travel Chapter’s strategy to strengthen its presence in prime coastal locations while preserving quality and local character.
Ben Harper, CEO of Watergate Bay Hotel Group, added: “We’re pleased to see Beach Retreats join Travel Chapter. Their values and track record make them the right partner for the next phase of growth.”

Travel Chapter are not a letting agency, they are a holiday letting agency. I’d suggest this ‘news’ is nothing more than a press release that PIE haven’t bothered to actually check out…
