Leadership Summit: Chance to hear top agents’ inspirational secrets of success

Three of the UK’s most successful estate agents will be sharing their secrets at an event in London.

At the Leadership Summit on October 2, Dale Norton, David Pollock and Peter Knight will divulge how they created, built and sold some of the UK’s most successful estate agency businesses.

Norton founded Romans at the age of 21 and in 2013 sold his business for a record multiple, having shown it is possible to simultaneously grow a business and achieve record profits. He will reveal some of the strategies that made and continue to make Romans a byword for success.

Pollock sold Greene & Co to Countrywide brand Hamptons this year, for what EYE described as an “eye watering figure”. Pollock has applied many lessons from retail to estate agency, including building a culture-led brand. The firm featured in a fly-on-the-wall TV documentary.

Knight, who heads up Estate Agency Events, was group MD of Jackson Property Services, an agency that was the first in the UK to open seven days a week. Among other achievements, he has gone on to run successful industry conferences and awards bashes, and founded the charity Agents Giving.

All three have extraordinary track records in innovation and aim to deliver real insights into the industry, designed to be of interest to forward thinking owners who want the best out of their business.

Highlights of the event will include sessions on how to build a culture that will “eat strategy for breakfast”; how to get staff to deliver their best every single day; and how to build a brand that not only attracts customers who will pay higher fees, but which will increase the value of the business.

There are very limited tickets available, so early booking is advised if this is something you would like to attend.
