The Leaders Romans Group has appointed a new chief operating officer.
He is David Wilson, who comes from outside the industry.
He has over 20 years of director-level experience within the energy and utilities industry, plus five years’ experience in logistics, which has seen him share his expertise in countries including Japan, Russia, the USA and Italy.
He has a proven record of driving market expansion and revenue growth via strategic sales and marketing campaigns, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change and CRM initiatives.
Wilson will be working alongside the digital, marketing and IT departments to drive business performance in the group, which has over 160 branches.
Wilson said: “I’m very much looking forward to working within the property industry, learning new things and sharing my transferrable skills to add value to the Leaders Romans Group.”

It can go either way. A big fail for Alison Platt but fresh eyes can sometimes really help. Depends how much power the COO is given too.

I believe that bringing someone in to estate agency from outside our industry can be a very good thing. There is so much to learn from other businesses.in my view.
