Keatons acquires rival agency

Keatons, based in east London, has acquired Royal Docks Property Services.

Royal Docks Property Services and Keatons share much in terms of geography and core values, so it is a good fit, according to Keatons’ managing director, Tony George.

All the team are remaining and the existing office will be rebranded in the first half of next year.

This deal takes Keatons’ East London operation to seven branches and is Keatons fourth acquisition in three years. It enhances its current portfolio close to 3,000 properties.

George said: “We are delighted with our acquisition of Royal Docks Property Services as it’s a firm we have always respected. They have served their clients and the community brilliantly for over twenty years and we are excited about building on their success.

“The purchase of one or two branch independent operations are the cornerstone of our expansion plan and we are committed to growing further. Our goal being at least 5,000 properties within the next four years.”
