The former director of White & Guard in Hampshire, Rob Rowe, has launched a new estate agency in the region, Rowe & Co.

The company’s first office opened on Monday in Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, and there are ambitious plans to expand to other key locations throughout the area in the next two years.

Rowe, who has been a local estate agent for more than 25 years, including leading multiple offices for well-known firms, Pearsons and White & Guard, has been joined by associate director James Steele, himself a highly experienced agent, for the launch of the fledgling business.

Since 1999, he has been a staple in the Southampton property scene, working his way up through local independent agencies to become the youngest ever branch manager, opening new storefronts and growing local agencies to new heights.

Rowe said: “After almost 25 years in the property industry, helping hundreds of people and families to find, buy, and sell the perfect home – sometimes multiple times – I felt now was the right time to launch Rowe & Co Homes right here in Chandler’s Ford.

“I know how fractured and disjointed the process of buying or selling a house can be. For over 30 years our team has been working in the Southampton property industry and we, like many, have felt frustrated with the flaws in the local housing market.

“Too often national and local property firms have neglected the need for real relationships, farming parts of the property journey out by department or outsourced provider and leaving buyers and sellers alike trying to connect the dots on their own. Home-movers no longer experience the ease of building a relationship with an individual agent, having a single point of contact, and streamlining their moving process.”
