Jefferies London has acquired independent estate agency Grange London as it expands its presence in the prime London lettings market.
The acquisition adds a managed portfolio of more than 100 properties and enables Jefferies London’s partner agents to offer a fully managed lettings service alongside residential sales.
Grange London, which is based in Paddington, will continue to operate with its existing team. Mez Callender and Christina Lipper will remain in leadership roles, while landlords, tenants and vendors will continue to be supported by the current staff.
The deal is the latest in a period of expansion for Jefferies London. The company said it has increased headcount by 30% this year and plans to almost double its network of partner agents by the end of 2026.
Alongside its growth strategy, the business has continued to invest in its technology platform, including its proprietary AI assistant, J.E.S.S.E., which is designed to support agents with administrative and operational tasks.
Jefferies London said the acquisition strengthens the services available to its partner network by combining Grange London’s property management expertise with its existing sales and brokerage offering.
Damien Jefferies, founder of Jefferies London, commented: “This acquisition is another important milestone in the direction we’re taking Jefferies London.
“Grange London has built an excellent reputation and a fantastic managed portfolio, making it a natural fit for our business. By combining their expertise with our brokerage model, technology and operational support, we’re creating an even stronger proposition for landlords, investors, homeowners and, importantly, our partner agents.
“For Grange London’s existing clients, it’s very much business as usual. They’ll continue working with the same trusted team they’ve always known, whilst benefiting from the additional resources, marketing reach and technology that Jefferies London brings to the table.
“We’ve invested heavily over the last couple of years in both people and technology because we believe the future of estate agency isn’t about replacing great agents with AI, it’s about giving great agents better tools to succeed.
“Strategic acquisitions like this, alongside innovations such as J.E.S.S.E., allow us to keep improving the service we provide whilst continuing to grow the business in the right way.”
