Hybrid letting agency announces recruitment drive

Accommodation.co.uk has announced that it is looking to recruit letting agents in 10 new regions across the UK to help cope with recent growth in business.

The hybrid letting agency, which was named lettings agency of the year by comparison website Rentround last week, says that it will provide all their new recruits with training, marketing support, lead generation and the appropriate software to ensure they have everything required to operate.

The property tech firm’s CEO, Aaron Short, believes that the Covid-19 pandemic has, in his view, “accelerated the modernisation of this sector”.

He said: “We’re delighted to be recruiting on such a large scale especially in the current climate.

“The rapid expansion of the business over the last six months is testament to the team’s hard work and highlights that our hybrid tech and on the ground expert solution is a popular solution as it reduces costs and makes the letting process easier for everyone involved.

“Due to the great success of our current agents we are expanding additional territories with our winning formula.”

Uncapped earnings, financial  freedom and a ticket to the promised land – also known as barely scratching a living from a spare bedroom dressed up as self-employment.

As we’ve seen from other hybrids the long term reality often looks very different. The churn, loss and failure rate of individual bedroom agents should be reported upfront on these websites for transparency.

A quick look at their ads shows me that it’s another super low quality DIY platform.

Good luck to any landlord looking to ‘use’ this platform
