Hybrid estate agency eXp UK surpasses 900-agent milestone

Hybrid estate agency eXp UK has now signed up more than 800 estate agents with the firm expected to expand further later this year, the company has revealed.

Launched in November 2019, the digitally-focused platform initially signed up 50 agents but now has over agents on board, as more agents seek self-employment with a view to managing their own business.

eXp UK continued to grow its agent network in 2025 while expanding its services for individual agents and branch-based estate agencies.

The business surpassed the 800-agent milestone last year and rolled out its ‘Teams’ model, allowing branch-based agencies to transition to self-employment, alongside growth in buyer representation and support services.

According to the latest Top 250 Estate Agent Countdown published by Property Industry Eye, eXp UK was the top estate agent in the UK for homes sold.

Since its launch in 2019, eXp UK has grown consistently, reaching 600 agents in 2024, surpassing 700 and 800 in 2025, and entering 2026 with a 900-strong agent network.

Adam Day, head of eXp UK and Europe, commented: “2025 was an outstanding year for eXp UK in terms of growth, innovation and the calibre of agents and businesses joining the platform, and entering 2026 with some 900 agents demonstrates that momentum has carried straight through into the new year.

“What continues to stand out is not just our pace of growth, but the consistency of it. Month after month, agents are choosing eXp UK because it offers the support, training and technology of a large, established brokerage, combined with the autonomy and flexibility of being self-employed.

“Reaching 900 agents is another important milestone, but it’s very much part of a bigger journey. The appetite for a better way of operating within estate agency is still growing, and we see no signs of that slowing as we move further into 2026.”
