Hybrid agency iad UK hits 30 estate agents signed up to its platform

Hybrid estate agency iad UK has now signed up 30 estate agents with the firm expected to expand further in the coming months, the company has revealed.

Four month since launching in the UK, the self-employed estate agency platform, which recently completed a three-date tour of the West Midlands, Essex, and Suffolk, has set a target of signing 100 agents by summer 2024.

iad, which is currently operating in seven international markets, including France and Spain, offers agents what it sees as a ‘unique commission split’ which sees agents share a minimum of 17%, subject to earnings, with franchise.

Lee O’Brien, MD of iad UK, said: “It’s also been an honour to see our existing iad agents speak so passionately about their roles and successes together with reassuring words around the support and credibility that a sizable, profitable entity such as iad uniquely provides.

“The self-employed model is the future of agency in the UK, and we believe we offer the finest iteration of those currently active in the market. After this recent road trip, it’s great to know that everyone else agrees with us.”

West Midlands, Suffolk & Essex. Glorious places and all that.

I will go with a big ole Good Luck because never before has anyone thought of this model and fluffed it up magnificently.

This sounds like a great idea. Why didnt I think of Self Employed, Hybrid Platforms and Zero Hour Contracts. I think I have missed the boat again!!

    30 agents in 4 months??
According to their company profile 90% were already David Lee associates/staff. That’s awkward

Not sure that the self employed model will become the norm in the UK, as not everyone who is passionate about our industry wants to run the show themselves.
But providing another platform for honest, professional and passionate people should be applauded.
