Hunters has acquired a portfolio of 279 lettings in Staffordshire.
The agent’s Lichfield branch used Hunter’s financial support scheme to fund the acquisition from C Lettings in Rugeley, Staffs.
The programme – similar to support offered by The Property Franchise Group and Belvoir to their own franchisees – has already seen acquisitions take place in 13 locations across the country, with branches in Harborne, Sheffield, Redditch and Lichfield becoming the latest franchisees to bring further rental property under their fold.
Through the initiative, the specialist acquisition team at Hunters supports local branches by helping to identify new lettings opportunities, before offering financial support to complete the purchase.
Andy Bushell, franchise director at Hunters, said: “We are delighted to be able to help our partners acquire lettings businesses or portfolios across the country and assist their business and income growth opportunities.
“Our lettings expertise is first-class, and we are able to offer a proven formula which includes training, systems, marketing and technology that drives success in what is an increasingly challenging area of our industry.
“2019 is set to be another year of progress for the company, and the continued expansion of our lettings offering is an important part of our growth.”
