Housing lawyer David Smith quits Anthony Gold Solicitors for new role

Housing lawyer David Smith is to leave Anthony Gold Solicitors.

Smith, currently partner and head of operations for the law firm, will leave for a new role at the end of March.

He joined Anthony Gold Solicitors as head of compliance in 2011 before becoming operations partner in 2014.

Smith will continue in his role as policy director at the Residential Landlords Association, which he has performed since July 2015.

He has also worked as a practice manager and mediator, and is a regular speaker at property industry conferences regarding regulations and legal matters.

Smith said: “After eight years I am sadly leaving Anthony Gold Solicitors on March 31 to go to a new firm.”

He declined to comment on who his new role was with but said it was similar.
