House prices still going up says Halifax

House prices went up 0.4% in March to stand at a “seasonally adjusted” £192,971.

According to the Halifax, in the first quarter of this year, average house prices went up 2.6%, bringing annual inflation to 8.1%.

The Halifax is forecasting house prices to go up this year by between 3% and 5%.
