Hortons targets self-employed estate agents with increase in commission

Hortons Estate Agents has announced a notable enhancement in the commission rate for its partners. Effective immediately, the brokerage for self-employed agents will increase the commission to 75%, up from the previous 50%.

The move is designed to help the hybrid agency, which operates a hub-style service, with its plans to expand nationwide.

The company, which was launched in 2016 by Adam Horton, currently operating across Oxfordshire, Surrey, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Derbyshire, and Northamptonshire.

Hortons has established itself as a well-known name in the industry, which has witnessed a surge in self-employed estate agents, with various brokerages offering commission rates ranging from 40% to 80%. 

“We equip our partners with the necessary infrastructure to establish and expand their businesses under a reputable brand,” said Horton. “Our emphasis on maintaining a top-tier team ensures that Hortons remains a well respected name – a brokerage agents want to partner with, and a brand consumers trust.”
