Regional property group Castles has acquired Collinson Hall, bringing one of St Albans’ longest-established estate agencies into its growing network.
Collinson Hall, which traces its origins back to 1825, will continue to provide residential sales, lettings and block management services as part of the wider Castles Property Group.
The agency has been under the ownership of directors Steven and Catherine Walker since the late 1980s, when they acquired the original Collinsons business. Around a decade later, it merged with Halls to form Collinson Hall.
The acquisition marks the latest chapter in the firm’s 200-year history. Castles Property Group, which operates nine branches across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, said the deal strengthens its presence in the region while ensuring the long-established business continues to serve its local market.
