Marketing body the Guild of Professional Estate Agents has teamed up with the Telegraph to host this year’s awards for its members.
To be hosted by TV presenter Melissa Porter, the Guild’s 2016 awards will be held at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, and are expected to be the biggest in its 23-year history.
All awards winners will be presented with their accolades by Anna White, the Telegraph’s head of property.
Marcus Whewell, Guild CEO, said: “It is a sign of our extraordinary progress that we can announce such a powerful partnership for our annual celebration of excellence.
“We are very grateful that the Telegraph has chosen to join us, as we reward the outstanding achievements of our network.
The Guild’s annual awards recognise outstanding innovation, customer service and accomplishments across its membership of independent agents.
Each year, the Guild invites its members to apply for one of the ten regional Awards.
From these winners, an overall Guild Member of the Year is chosen.
This year will also see two new additions to the awards: ‘Best Lettings Agent’ and ‘Best Newcomer’.
To qualify for judging, Guild agents must first have passed a compliance check and then present a submission with answers to nine critical questions.
All winners will be announced on January 28.
A conference will be followed by the dinner, awards ceremony and evening entertainment.
The theme of the conference is ‘Net.Working – The Future of Estate Agency’.
