Goodlord agrees deal to improve tenant referencing service

Goodlord has announced an integration with Konfir, a platform which speeds-up vital access to verified tenant information in a bid to eliminate fraud from tenant referencing.

This partnership with Konfir, a platform which speeds-up vital access to verified tenant information, will enable users of the Goodlord PRO referencing tool – which first launched earlier this year – to bypass traditional, document-reliant referencing methods prone to delays and which are vulnerable to fraud.

The new set-up replaces with the ability to source data directly from HMRC, payroll providers, and through Open Banking.

Nishma Parekh, head of referencing at Goodlord, said: “Our collaboration with Konfir has advanced what we are able to offer with PRO; enabling us to double down on our ability to bypass traditional, document-dependent methods in favour of direct, secure verifications from trusted sources like HMRC and payroll providers. We are now able to run even more efficient and robust verification processes that align with our mission to streamline the tenant referencing process and enhance user satisfaction across the board.”

Chris Milligan, CEO of Konfir, added: “Partnering with Goodlord to power their PRO service highlights our dedication to being a trusted partner in verifying income. By providing instant and accurate verification, we help safeguard landlords and letting agents against the risks of fraud and ensure a smooth and efficient tenant vetting process.”
