Give a thumbs up and “Share Your Call For Cancer”

With the nation working from home due to the coronavirus pandemic, property software supplier VTUK, is leading a fund-raising drive to help youngsters undergoing cancer treatment.

Many teenagers face the prospect of being isolated at home, with no contact due to chemotherapy, whilst also suffering the fear that their cancer treatment will be affected.

VTUK are encouraging agents across the nation to share a screenshot of their Zoom calls with their team putting their thumbs up and make a donation in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity close to VTUK’s hearts.

The screenshot should be shared across social media with the hashtag #CallForCancer.

Everyone taking part in the call is kindly being asked to donate £2 or more on VTUK’s JustGiving page.

VTUK explain on their fundraising page:

• Get everyone to put their thumbs up on your Zoom call.
• Post a screenshot of their thumbs with #callforcancer on social media.
• Ask each video call attendee to donate £2 or more on this page.
• Together we’ll show them they are not alone!

VTUK’s JustGiving page can be found here.

VTUK’s Chairman, Peter Grant says:

“The Government has rightly highlighted the work of our charities and we know they are suffering with hugely depleted donations, at the time when they need them most.

“You can now help.

“Please join us in supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust to help young people bear the hardship of isolation and to continue their fantastic work on cancer wards in these incredibly hard times for the NHS.”
