The ongoing pandemic has put many aspects of life on hold. Apart from the essential services permitted by Government, our streets seem to be void of activities as the country hunkers down for a battle against the invisible enemy.

While most property managers are adapting to remote working, some may struggle to work at home. What about those things that require in-person attendance and impact both on the quality of life, and quite possibly the safety of residents across the UK?

A raft of government guidance documents and media reports have been released in just a few weeks relating to how planned and reactive maintenance , including statutory inspections, should be approached.

In a bid to help property managers and letting agents understand how the outbreak is impacting their roles, business practices and legal liabilities, MRI Software is hosting a free webinar with panellists from Fixflo and the Residential Landlords Association (RLA). Focusing on company policies, maintenance management and effective communication, the free webinar is for residential property managers and operators especially those looking after leasehold blocks and rented homes. Attendees will be encouraged to raise questions in order to help them cope with the ‘new’ and hopefully shortlived property management landscape.

Rajeev Nayyar (MD, Fixflo ) and David Smith (solicitor and outgoing Policy Director at RLA ) will be answering questions posed by Jack Harrison of MRI Software and webinar attendees. Should attendee number reach capacity for the live stream, a recording of the webinar will be made available to registered attendees.

The live stream will be at 2 April 2020, 2PM BST
