Winkworth has expanded into Stratford-upon-Avon and the North Cotswolds following the acquisition of the five-office independent agency Peter Clarke.
Nick Martiny Roberts, who owns the Winkworth franchise in Royal Leamington Spa, has spearheaded the deal to take over the residential arm of the family-run firm.
The move gives Winkworth a significant presence across Stratford-upon-Avon, Wellesbourne, Shipston-on-Stour and Chipping Campden. The Peter Clarke branch in Leamington Spa will now operate as Winkworth Leamington Spa.
Nick Martiny Roberts, who opened the Winkworth franchise in Royal Leamington Spa in 2024, said: “This is a significant expansion for us and we are delighted that an existing successful business with an excellent reputation and track record is now becoming part of the Winkworth network. The jewel in the crown will be the Stratford-upon-Avon office which will be known as Peter Clarke in association with Winkworth, plus key offices across South Warwickshire and the North Cotswolds in strategic locations.

Existing staff at Peter Clarke, will continue to work under the new ownership of Winkworth, with Peter Clarke partner Michael Hawkins taking on the role of Operations Director and Barney Smith as Area Sales Director.
