Former housing minister Mark Prisk will be talking about the impending tenants fees ban at next week’s TPO conference.
Prisk is a member of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee, which scrutinised the draft Tenant Fees Bill.
Prisk is also expected to talk about Client Money Protection, likely to become mandatory before the fees ban is implemented.
Other speakers include Rob Symes, of Rightmove, talking about data quality; Richard Combellack, of BriefYourMarket, on GDPR; and James Walker, of consumer champion Resolver.
Walker has confirmed that his session will explore how the property industry can be supported in optimising its reputation and supporting better outcomes for consumers and the industry, based on the experiences of other sectors.
The Ombudsman, Katrine Sporle, will also be speaking.
Some places are still available for the event on Wednesday, June 13, at the National Conference Centre.

Which one was he? They should have dates after their names, not that any have achieved anything!
