Jamie Lester, head of Jamie Lester Consultancy, an advisory service providing sales and marketing strategy advice to property developers, has added a new build estate agency division to his business, Jamie Lester Properties.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the property industry, Lester, a former finalist on the BBC’s Apprentice series in 2010, has previously worked in the estate agency sector, having headed up Haus Properties, where he expanded across west London with four branches between 2011 and 2015.
This was followed by consulting for various developers, including Aitch Group, before forming his existing developer consultancy business in November 2016.
The company has provided comprehensive strategy advice including sales, marketing, branding, placemaking, social media and PR for new homes.
Jamie Lester Properties has now added an estate agency division, and will be selling new build homes across a variety of residential developments.
The service includes everything a traditional estate agent provides such as marketing, viewings, negotiation, proof of funds, exchange of contracts and exchange.
Lester said: “Over the last few years, I was essentially running the sales and marketing process for developers, coming up with unique ideas and managing the vision for the development.
“Whilst I was training the sales staff in their approach, I realised how much I missed the excitement of selling properties myself, and felt I could add even more value to developers by providing them with my vast estate agency experience too. Now I provide everything from start to finish.”
Haus Properties went into liquidation with a deficency of over £1M, a company he started in 2011. Surely not the same chap who missed the excitement of selling property!

An unnecessary comment and below the belt. He’s a decent family man who took risks in business, like we all do. Some risks pay off, other don’t.
I wish him all the best with his new venture.

If he is anything like the apprentice boiler/plumber man he will have a consultancy company caning the front of house company for fees so when this one goes bust he will be ok thank you very much but not the people left out of work and owed thousands who worked tirelessly behind the scenes

‘He took risks in business’ yes with other peoples money. Whilst HMRC were left being owed a substantial sum I am sure the trade creditors who were left being owed money by Haus also think they are a lovely bunch of chaps.it is ok gambling with your own money but when you do it with other people’s I am sorry but I think that shows a total disregard for anyone else and I suspect they will do it again if it suits them.

You really are an unpleasant individual, and someone who doesn’t understand business at all.

I am only stating the facts as filed at companies house. The truth is often unpleasant but nevertheless an indelible imprint is left when a company goes into administration owing innocent parties money. I take it from your comments you think that is an acceptable way of conducting business but as you do not posses the ability to express your thoughts more eloquently you have to resort to saying I am really an unpleasant individual who does not understand business.
