Zoopla has appointed a new head of communications. He is Tom Parker, who joins from Amazon.

His CV also includes stints at Sainsbury and Eurostar.

At Zoopla, he will lead Zoopla’s external public relations.

Zoopla has also appointed Melissa Scarlett as PR manager for its business to business and corporate activities.

She joins from PR firm Edelman which specialises in property.

The two recruits are the two latest hires in a series of senior appointments.
