Here’s a contender for one of EYE’s new series – Floorplan of the Week. Just how do all those stairs work?
Let’s take it one step at a time.
The stairs from the ground floor emerge somewhat unexpectedly in the bathroom – which by the way is several times larger than either of the two bedrooms on the same floor.
But anyway, to get to what looks like the landing, you have to go through the bathroom first which does seem unlikely.
Then there are the stairs from the first floor which go straight into the front wall and, even more curiously, reappear on the far right of the property.
Luckily, there’s a disclaimer: “This plan is for illustration purposes only and may not be representative of the property.”
So that’s all right then.

Must have used an “Etch a Sketch”

I particularly like the size of the en-suite compared to the bathroom

or possibly an “Escher sketch”

Where online can I find the property advert that this floorplan belongs to, or was it simply mashed together to be an example for this new series?
