Fine & Country confirms return of its Carols by Candlelight Christmas Concert

The Fine & Country Foundation will once again stage its annual Carols By Candlelight at the iconic King’s College Chapel in Cambridge next month.

The historic venue, a firm favourite among returning supporters, provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of festive music and readings. As in previous years, all proceeds will go to charities tackling homelessness and poverty, continuing the Foundation’s longstanding commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.

Funds raised from this year’s concert will be directed to Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians – four charities that provide essential services and support to those experiencing homelessness in the Cambridgeshire region. By purchasing a ticket, attendees contribute directly to The Foundation’s ongoing efforts to create meaningful change for vulnerable individuals in our society.

This year’s event, which will take place on 7 December, will feature performances from King’s Voices, the mixed-voice choir of the King’s College community.

Doors will open at 3.45pm, with the service commencing at 4.30pm, with carols filling the historic halls of King’s College Chapel. Following the concert, VIP guests are invited to join a reception featuring mulled wine and mince pies, a moment to come together and reflect on the evening’s purpose and impact.

Sharing her thoughts on the event, Emilie Despois, trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, commented: “The Carols by Candlelight Concert is not just an evening of festive cheer, it’s a moment that brings together people who believe in community and the importance of giving back.

“Over the years the event has continued to grow from strength to strength, and it has been amazing to see the impact the event has had in so many people’s lives. The annual carol concert has been a massive contributor towards the money The Foundation has raised over the years and has helped support many charities and non-profit organisations in the work they are doing in their communities.”

Tickets are now available, and early booking is strongly encouraged due to high demand. Standard tickets cost £30, with pew seat available for £20, however these are located below the choir unsighted.

VIP tickets can be purchased for £50, which includes guaranteed seating in the front section, as well as the mince pie and mulled wine reception.

Tickets can be booked here.
