Fast-growing European PropTech eyes UK estate agency market

A European property marketing platform is expanding into the UK, targeting estate agents as it looks to grow its presence in a new market.

Nodalview, which provides AI-powered tools for property listings, is now operating in the UK.

The company plans to open a London office as part of its expansion, focusing on the UK’s network of more than 20,000 estate agency branches.

Founded in Belgium in 2019, Nodalview has raised more than €10m from investors including PROfounders Capital, K Fund and Volta Ventures. Its platform has been used to market more than three million properties, with its largest user bases in France and Belgium.

The technology enables agents to produce listing content — such as photography, 360-degree virtual tours, video walkthroughs and floor plans — using a smartphone. It is designed to be used by individual agents as well as rolled out across larger agency networks.

The move comes as estate agents face increasing competition and look for ways to improve how properties are presented online.

Thomas Lepelaars, CEO and co-founder of Nodalview, commented: “The UK is one of the most important property markets in Europe, and we believe it is at an inflection point. Agents expect to bring properties to market quicker, leveraging AI in a way that brings them consistent results, yet the tools most agents use to market properties have not kept pace.”

Nodalview has appointed Frederic Benisty, previously of Foxtons and Giraffe360, to oversee its UK rollout.

I tried to play some of their video examples yesterday – none of them worked on desktop or phone.
