An estate agency in southern France is recruiting British agents keen on a change of lifestyle.
Beaux Villages Immobiler has both salaried positions for sales managers, and commission-only opportunities in its network of 14 branches.
The agency already has a significant number of British staff, including founder Lynn Langley, who started the business in early 2008; co-owner Rob Langley; and marketing director Julie Savill, and is experienced at helping Brits move to France.
Savill said: “We work in a multi-lingual property market.
“Our core ‘patch’ is the size of England and Wales, with partnerships elsewhere.
“We spend quite a lot of the time on the road driving on quiet, well-maintained roads through beautiful countryside.
“Much of our business is conducted in English only and many of our most successful property consultants do not speak much or any French.
“They are supported by our multi-lingual call team.
Of course other languages open up other possibilities.
“The expectation of most clients on mainland Europe is a full-service agency offering, charged at fees of 5% plus TVA (French VAT).
“Our team work on either commission only or salary and bonus according to circumstance.
“Our recruitment pool is not keeping pace with our business needs and so we are reaching out to experienced agents who might wish to make the move.
“We can support a trial here in France, and an interested person could speak to one of our team who has already made the move from UK estate agency.”
Savill herself moved to France with her husband and children in 2003: “It felt like home after a few weeks. We love the UK and the people but were ground down by traffic, crime and negativity.”
Savill says that it is currently a busy market in France, with very few private sales or hybrid agents.
Beaux Villages Immobiler currently employs over 100 people and plans to open further branches. Last year, it was voted best estate agency in France.
Rob Longley is conducting interview in London on June 7.

This sounds so tempting, to work in a place where doing your best and providing great client service is recognised and appreciated by not just the vendors you are representing.
And on top of that you don’t have the constant put downs, advertising and propaganda from companies claiming they do the same as you do (which they don’t) for less fee, just to win market share and more investment capital.
