Property Industry Eye is proud to have been chosen as the media sponsor of The Property Ombudsman’s first-ever conference.

Called “Raise Your Standards”, it will take place on October 14 at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, with attendance open to both member and non-member agents.

Gerry Fitzjohn, vice-chairman of TPO, said he is “absolutely delighted” with Eye’s involvement in this industry first which will see us actively promote the event.

Fitzjohn said: “TPO has over 30,000 jurisdictions, and although we are not a trade body, we are the organisation with the largest membership  in the industry.

“It is very difficult for agents to keep track of legislation, and this event is designed to help them do that.”

He also revealed a new keynote speaker, Guy Browning. Eye can confidently say that whether or not you have not heard him before, you are in for a treat.

Other speakers confirmed for the event include: James Munro (team leader of the National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team), Leon Livermore (chief executive of the Trading Standards Institute), Tim Wakelin (property industry trainer) and Robert Bolwell (head of landlord and tenant department at Dutton Gregory Solicitors).
