EYE can exclusively reveal that LRG has acquired the residential agency business of Henry Adams. The deal extends the group’s presence across Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.

Henry Adams operates 12 offices across the region. Its branches include Chichester, Bognor Regis and Aldwick, East Wittering, Emsworth, Haslemere, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Middleton-on-Sea, Midhurst, Petersfield, Selsey and Storrington.

The acquisition brings a business with roots stretching back 200 years into the LRG group.

Henry Adams traces its origins to agricultural valuers Wyatt & Son. The firm was established in Chichester in 1826, when livestock markets still operated in the city’s streets.

The business adopted the Henry Adams name 35 years ago. It has since developed into a multi-office estate agency serving markets across the south of England.

Henry Adams will continue to operate under its existing name. Its leadership and local teams will remain in place.

LRG has been approached for comment.
