Agency software supplier Reapit has acquired Resource Techniques, a firm which creates websites for agents.
The acquisition is designed to strengthen Reapit’s market share in the UK.
Resource Techniques will continue operating from its current headquarters in Hendon, west London.
Reapit says it will be seeking to expand the range of website and online services it can offer via Resource Techniques.
In addition, Reapit will make available its platform to Resource Techniques’ clients.
Gary Barker, Reapit CEO, said: “We are very excited to welcome the Resource Techniques team and their clients to the Reapit group.
“I am sure that we will be able to enhance the experience of all of their clients and I look forward to sharing details of our plans with them.”
Nigel Trickey, current managing director of Resource Techniques, will be retained in a consultancy role.
Trickey said: “We have built a great website proposition for estate agents and now have over 350 sites running for our clients.
“I am very happy that we will now be able to offer our clients access to Reapit’s award-winning software and services to help grow their businesses.”
Reapit was purchased last October in a £50m-plus management buyout deal backed by an American venture capital company, Accel-KKR.
