eXp UK names first agents signed to new brokerage model

eXp UK has announced the first estate agency brands to have joined the eXp UK under their new ‘brokerage’ model.

Firstly, Mackays – a single office agency in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, founded and owned by Adam Mackay.

Secondly, Matthe Billingham, of Billingham & Co, an estate agency business in the Midlands, have also made the decision to partner their business with eXp.

The head of eXp UK, Adam Day, commented: “We’ve already pioneered the introduction and growth of the supported self-employed model within the UK property sector and this has been incredibly successful in its own right. Our brokerage model is simply an evolutionary step in this process and one that offers further choice, flexibility and opportunity to agents in what is both a challenging and competitive market.

“We’re delighted to welcome Mackays and Billingham & Co to the eXp UK family and look forward to supporting them along their journey as the UK’s first brokerage style agents, as we continue to change the face of the sector and how we work within it.”

Adam Mackay of Mackay Property commented: “I’m super excited for Mackay Property to be the first business to join eXp. 14 years ago, when I started Mackay Property, my goal was to create a team of driven, passionate and proud agents. My vision was to really make a positive impact and help change the industry for the better. I feel this is the perfect partnership to bring that vision to life.

“I am overjoyed to be in a position to extend that positive impact to other agents throughout the industry. Agents who want to experience the best of both worlds, building their own business whilst benefiting from being part of an ever growing, amazing network. 2024 is going to be fun.”

Matt Billingham of Billingham & Co added: “My team and I are excited to be partnering with eXp UK. This new relationship will supercharge our marketing, brand, and presence and free our team of agents to focus solely on our clients without having to worry about bureaucracy. The support and responsiveness of our new extended team at eXp has been world-class, and we look forward to demonstrating our new brand power in 2024.”

I am sure that there will be a few more smaller agencies who now begin to take a serious look at moving their business over to the exp model. It kinda makes sense…

This is 95% because of rightmove. When those leaches at rm work it out , the price will go up and model breaks.
