Sean Newman, who has 16 Fine & Country offices across the Midlands, has appointed Jim Harris as the Managing Director of the group.

Harris will also be the Managing Director of Newman Property Experts which has plans to become a national brand and grow to 250 self-employed Agents across the UK.

Harris has a passion for estate agency and a wealth of knowledge about behavioural leadership and business growth.

Having over 30 years of successful experience in corporate and independent estate agency including a lengthy stint in financial services, Harris says:

“I’ve always had a passion for real estate, keeping ahead of trends and innovation, so I am very excited to be joining Sean and his team.

“The estate agency world is changing and I believe agents want to be part of a forward-thinking company where they can learn, develop, have the best technology and infrastructure to help them achieve high earnings, a good work life balance, whilst delivering the results, service and accessibility clients want.”

Most recently Harris has been with Purplebricks, being instrumental in their rapid growth, heading up the training in the UK and Australia. He added:

“The opportunity to work in a founder led disruptor business has been amazing,

“Now I am able to bring the same energy and vision to work with Sean, grow a great business and give agents the opportunity they really want.

“Our goal is to provide the best self-employed proposition, to attract and develop the best agents in the UK.”

Newman commented:

“This is fantastic news for our agents, our clients and our business.

“Jim will help take the business to the next level and provide an exciting future for all involved.”
