Ex-footballer launches new estate agency

Former professional football player and manager Mick Gooding has launched a new estate agency in Reading.

Gooding, who is now a pundit for BBC Radio Berkshire, has worked for a number of estate agents around Reading since he retired from football in 2000.

The 61-year-old spent the bulk of his career playing for Reading. He also managed the club and guided them the Championship play-off final.

Gooding, who also played for Wolves, Southend and Rotherham, has launched a new agency called Gooding and Co.

Gooding told Berkshire Live: “Our goal as a business is to care more than anyone else about delivering the best estate agency experience for our clients.

“By going the extra mile and exceeding our customers’ expectations, we hope to become one of the most well-respected and trusted agents in the area.

“Our strength as an estate agency is our comprehensive knowledge of the local area, years of property experience and traditional values of honesty and reliability.”
