The business formed by ex-Countrywide executives has revealed it is continuing to expand.
Nick Dunning Associates, which has already acquired Stirling Ackroyd and Townends, has said it is close to completing on other acquisitions.
It has also said that the lettings book of My London Home will be absorbed into the Stirling Ackroyd portfolio and rebranded this autumn.
Consisting of nearly a thousand managed properties, the rebranding process is currently under way and will take full effect between the end of October and early November.
Stirling Ackroyd was bought by Nick Dunning Associates just over a year ago, while the My London Home lettings portfolio was acquired in March.
Nick Dunning is a former head of lettings at Countrywide. Other former Countrywide seniors in the business include Graham Harrison, Matt Hewitt and Vince Corley.
Dunning said: “Stirling Ackroyd has a strong presence in central and east London and is an established high street brand.
“Since our acquisition of the business in July 2017, the new management team has put in place robust plans to grow the lettings and commercial divisions, and the absorption and rebranding of the My London Home portfolio plays a key role in this.”
Nick Dunning Associates said it has ambitions to triple the Stirling Ackroyd business over the next couple of years.
The firm has also purchased Lourdes estate agents in Westferry, creating a physical footprint in the Canary Wharf and Docklands area. It said: “Various other opportunities are being reviewed, with some nearing completion.”
As part of its expansion plans, Stirling Ackroyd is also looking at the Nine Elms area of London for new office premises and further opportunities for acquisitions.
Meanwhile, another ex-Countrywide executive has been appointed to the Nick Dunning team.
He is Tim Van der Schyff who takes the role managing director of group lettings.
Van der Schyff is responsible for overseeing the lettings portfolio of all brands under the company’s umbrella, including Townends Estate Agents and Stirling Ackroyd networks.
At Countrywide he was head of lettings for eight of the firm’s premium brands, overseeing the management and strategic direction of 44 branches in London, Surrey and the Home Counties.
He has proven experience of developing and growing property agencies, as well as managing the rebrand of Fitz Gibbon and Faron Sutaria into John D Wood.
I don’t get this. Dunning was terrible at CW, has no idea about agency and was part of the downfall. Why would someone give him a cheque book to run around recreating another CW??!!
